The driver of the Lexus was taken to the hospital with serious injuries

Austin, TX. – One person was injured in a car accident on Thursday afternoon near Manor in Austin.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on FM 973 at Blake Manor Road at around 12:45 p.m.
A Chrysler 300 driven by a 17-year-old man was speeding on FM 273 when a trooper attempted to stop it. The driver fled the scene and was pursued. The man later crashed into a Lexus SUV on Blake Manor Road.
The driver of the Lexus was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The 17-year-old man fled on foot and was arrested. He was booked into jail and faces several charges.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
