Fort Worth, TX. – A police officer involved in a chase was injured in a fiery crash on Tuesday night in Fort Worth.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the accident happened on I-30 at Oakland Boulevard at around 9 p.m.
Officers were pursuing a suspect when the suspect crashed his Honda SUV into an unmarked police Dodge Durango.
The collision caused a vehicle to catch fire. One occupant of a silver Honda fled the scene but was later arrested.
One officer in the unmarked car was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Further details about the crash were not provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
