Arlington, TX – A bicyclist was killed Monday afternoon in an accident in Arlington, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened just before 4:00 p.m. on May 25 on Interstate 20 near Matlock Road.
Police said a bicyclist was attempting to cross the interstate when they were struck by a Toyota Prius.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
The Prius driver and other passengers were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The accident temporarily closed eastbound I-20 near Cooper Street.
The police are investigating the accident.
