Dallas, TX – A person was killed Tuesday night in a motorcycle accident in Dallas, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident was reported around 9:15 p.m. on May 12 on North Central Expressway near the Midpark Road Bridge.
Authorities said a motorcycle was traveling southbound when it struck the wall at the HOV lane entrance. The rider lost control after the impact and crashed within the single-lane entry. The rider and the motorcycle were then struck by a car.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The car driver was uninjured in the accident.
The accident closed all southbound and HOV lanes on the expressway for several hours.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
