The accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. on May 5 in the 3700 block of Green Meadow Drive.

San Angelo, TX – A 16-year-old boy was injured Tuesday night in a hit-and-run accident in San Angelo, according to the police.
The accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. on May 5 in the 3700 block of Green Meadow Drive.
Police said the boy was walking home from work when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Aaron Metcalf.
The boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Metcalf fled the scene after the accident but was later located by the authorities and taken into custody. He was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on a charge of accident involving serious bodily injury. His bond was set at $200,000.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
