A Nissan Versa failed to yield the right of way while turning left onto U.S. 59 and struck an Audi Q7

San Jacinto County, TX. – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday in San Jacinto County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and F.M. 1127 at around 2:49 p.m.
A 2012 Nissan Versa was traveling on F.M. 1127 when it failed to yield the right of way while turning left onto U.S. 59 and struck a 2018 Audi Q7 traveling northbound on U.S. 59.
The driver of the Audi, 44-year-old Amy Breland, was taken to CHI St. Luke’s Livingston with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of Nissan, Michael Watson, 46, and one passenger, Marilyn Watson, 67, were taken to Hermann Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
