Denton County, TX – A 34-year-old Sanger man was killed Saturday morning in a motorcycle accident in Denton County, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened around 11:45 a.m. on May 23 on FM 455 near Hub Clark Road.
According to the report, the man was riding a motorcycle eastbound at a high rate of speed. He braked to avoid hitting an eastbound vehicle, lost control, and laid the motorcycle down. The impact sent the motorcycle into the westbound lane, where it struck a pickup truck and was pushed into the eastbound lane, where it collided with a vehicle.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. His name has not been released.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The pickup truck driver was uninjured in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
