Marble Falls, TX. – Five people, including two children, were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon in Marble Falls.

According to the Marble Falls Police Department, the accident happened in the 3100 block of South U.S. Highway 281 at around 5 p.m.

A black Nissan pickup truck was northbound on South U.S. Highway 281 when it crossed into the southbound lanes and sideswiped a white BMW, then collided head-on with a silver Hyundai hatchback.

The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two adult occupants of the Hyundai and two girls succumbed to their injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
