Plano, TX – Two people were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Plano, according to a local news source.
The collision happened just after 1:00 p.m. on May 1 at the intersection of Spring Creek Parkway and Windhaven Parkway.
According to the report, a white Mazda ran a red light at the intersection and was struck on the passenger’s side by an oil tanker truck.
The force of the impact caused the oil tanker truck to overturn and come to a rest on the curb.
The driver of the oil tanker truck was trapped and had to be extricated. The driver and one other person were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The collision remains under investigation.
