A man and a 4-year-old girl were taken to the hospital with injuries.

Edinburg, TX. – A 39-year-old woman was killed and two people were injured in a suspected DUI crash on Saturday night in Edinburg.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the intersection of Salinas Street and West Monte Cristo Road.
A 31-year-old man was driving a vehicle westbound when he ran a red light and crashed into a vehicle driven by a 39-year-old woman.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man and a 4-year-old girl were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Two boys were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
