Weatherford, TX – The man who was killed on Friday in a two-vehicle collision in Weatherford has been identified as Aurelio Padilla, 80, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

The fatal collision happened just after 4:00 p.m. on May 1 in the 900 block of North Main Street.

Police said Padilla was driving when his car crashed into a Weatherford sanitation truck.

Padilla was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details were provided.

The Texas DPS is investigating the collision.

Weatherford, TX. – An 80-year-old man was killed in a crash on Friday afternoon in Weatherford.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred on North Main Street at North Elm Street at around 4 p.m.

A City of Weatherford sanitation truck reportedly collided with a passenger vehicle driven by an 80-year-old man in unclear circumstances.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
