Corpus Christi, TX. – A man was injured in a crash involving a construction truck on Wednesday afternoon in Corpus Christi.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Interstate 37 at U.S. Highway 77 near Odem at around 1 p.m.

A vehicle failed to navigate the curb correctly while attempting to exit onto U.S. 77 toward Odem and crashed into a construction truck parked.

The driver was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
