According to the report, a man was walking across Sunset Drive when he was struck by a Mitsubishi Mirage that was turning right from Southwest onto Sunset.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian.
The police are investigating the accident.
