San Antonio, TX. – A woman was injured in a head-on crash on Friday afternoon in San Antonio.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the crash happened at the intersection of West Commerce Street and South General McMullen Drive at around 4 p.m.

A Honda Accord driven by a woman was northbound on South General McMullen and was approaching West Commerce when it turned into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a Mazda.

The woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Mazda remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
