Houston, TX. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday morning in Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the accident happened on Highway 6 near the Park Hollow at around 2:45 a.m.
The man was crossing the street near the intersection when he was struck by an SUV.
The suspected SUV was later located on the Southwest Freeway near the Sam Houston Tollway with damage.
The man succumbed to his injuries. The deceased’s name and details were not provided.
The driver of the SUV was taken into custody.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
