San Angelo, TX – A woman was injured Tuesday morning in a pedestrian accident in San Angelo, according to the police.
The accident happened around 11:55 a.m. on May 12 on Avenue N near the intersection of South Bryant Boulevard.
Police said the woman was crossing the street from TitleMax to McDonald’s, outside of a crosswalk, when she was struck by an eastbound Dodge Ram.
The force of the impact pushed the woman into a lane of traffic.
The woman walked to McDonald’s after the accident and was eventually loaded into an ambulance and taken to the hospital with a head injury. She was cited for failure to yield the right of way to traffic.
The police are investigating the accident.
