Lubbock, TX – The man who was killed Saturday evening in a pedestrian accident in North Lubbock has been identified as Lonnie Lonjino Jr. Morin III, 44, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 9:11 p.m. on May 16 on North Quaker Avenue near Princeton Street.
Police said Morin was walking southbound in the main lanes of the street when he was struck by an SUV.
Morin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
No additional details were provided.
The police are investigating the accident.
