Hill County, TX – A Copperas Cove man was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Hill County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision was reported around 3:41 p.m. on May 25 at the intersection of FM 933 and FM 1304.
DPS said an Acura passenger car was traveling westbound on FM 1304 approaching the intersection while a Ford pickup towing a gooseneck trailer was traveling northbound on FM 933.
The Acura failed to yield the right of way and collided with the Ford.
The Acura driver, Young Yong Kim, 36, of Copperas Cove, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford driver, a 72-year-old, was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest with non-life-threatening injuries.
The troopers are investigating the accident.
