Laredo, TX – The man who was killed early Monday morning in a pedestrian accident in Laredo has been identified as 20-year-old Alejandro Cruz Jr., according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 12:46 a.m. on May 25 in the 1000 block of Laurel Drive near Trautmann Elementary School.

Police said Cruz was involved in a pedestrian accident and was killed in the accident.

A 15-year-old girl was arrested in connection with the accident and charged with manslaughter, a second-degree felony.

No additional details were provided.

The police are investigating the accident.

Laredo, TX. – A 19-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Monday morning in Laredo.

According to the Laredo Police Department, the accident happened in the 1000 block of Laurel Drive near Trautmann Elementary School.

A teenager was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.

Medical personnel pronounced the 19-year-old dead at the scene. The deceased’s name was not provided.

The police located and detained a 15-year-old female driver of the car.
