Dripping Springs, TX – Two people were injured Saturday morning in a wrong-way collision in Dripping Springs, according to the authorities.

The collision happened on May 30 on US 290.

Authorities said a Ford F-250 was traveling the wrong way when it collided head-on with a truck tractor hauling a trailer.

The driver of the truck tractor was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The Ford driver, a 27-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The collision closed the highway for several hours.

The collision remains under investigation.
