Austin, TX. – A 33-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a crash on Sunday evening in Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the crash happened at the intersection of Braker Lane and Mopac Service Road at around 4:47 p.m.
The motorcyclist evaded a traffic stop after multiple traffic violations, resulting in a chase. The motorcyclist drove recklessly, failed to yield the right of way at the intersection, and struck a passenger car.
The motorcyclist, Ramsey Hisham Rahman, 33, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
He was later booked into jail on the charge of Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle.
Additional details about the crash were not provided.
