Sinton, TX – One person was injured Monday morning in a train collision north of Sinton, according to officials.
The collision happened at about 9:15 a.m. on June 1 at the intersection of US 77 and Welder Wildlife Road.
DPS said a train struck a dump truck at the intersection.
The dump truck driver was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital — Shoreline with minor injuries.
No additional details regarding the collision were provided.
The authorities are investigating the collision.
