One person sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital

Edinburg, TX. – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon in Edinburg.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at the intersection of Monte Cristo and Closner at around 4 p.m.
A white semi-truck was traveling southbound on Closner entered the intersection and struck a Toyota Camry, a tuck tractor, a Ford Bronco, and a Nissan.
One person sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.
More details about the crash were not provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
