Burleson, TX. – A 25-year-old bicyclist was killed in an accident on Wednesday morning in Burleson.
According to the Burleson Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of Northwest John Jones Drive and Walter Drive at around 6 a.m.
The man was riding the bicycle when he was struck by a car at the intersection.
The man fell off his bicycle and was transported to a trauma center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the man was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with the police.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
