San Angelo, TX. – A San Angelo police officer was injured in a crash on Friday morning in San Angelo.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of South Bryant Boulevard and South Jackson Street.
A white passenger vehicle was traveling eastbound on South Jackson Street when it struck an SAPD vehicle that was responding to another crash with its emergency lights and sirens activated.
The officer sustained minor injuries and was offered medical care.
The driver of the white passenger vehicle was not cited for failing to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle.
