Houston, TX. – A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in Houston.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Moline Street and Telephone Road at around 7:40 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department.
The man was crossing the intersection with a walker when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver reported that he was blinded by the sun when he pulled towards the intersection.
The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
No additional information regarding the accident was provided by the officials.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
