The 68-year-old driver of the Chevrolet SUV succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Milam County, TX. – 69-year-old Amelia Reyes Mendoza was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Monday morning in Milam County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened on U.S. 77 near CR 203 Loop at around 9 a.m.
A 40-year-old man driving a Dodge SUV was approaching stopped traffic at a construction zone when he failed to stop and struck a Chevrolet SUV operated by the Cameron resident. The collision caused a chain reaction crash involving three vehicles.
The 68-year-old driver of the Chevrolet SUV succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Five people were taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center with injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
