Bryan, TX – A motorcyclist was killed Thursday night in a head-on collision in Bryan, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened on May 7 in the 6100 block of East State Highway 21 near Wallis Road in front of Coulter Airfield.
Police said an SUV was traveling westbound on the highway when it entered the center turn lane to turn left onto Wallis Road. 18-year-old Anthony Banda was riding a motorcycle eastbound when he entered the center turn lane to turn left onto Crosswind Drive and crashed head-on into the SUV.
Banda was killed in the accident.
The SUV driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
Bryan, TX. – An 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Thursday night in Bryan.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened in the 6100 block of East State Highway 21 at Wallis Road.
A motorcyclist was traveling eastbound when it entered the center turn lane to turn left onto Crosswind Drive and collided head-on with a westbound SUV that was making a left turn onto Wallis Road.
Medics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
