Kyle, TX — A 21-year-old Austin woman was killed after a motorcycle crash involving an 18-wheeler on Interstate 35 in Kyle Sunday night, according to the Kyle Police Department.
The fatal collision occurred at approximately 9:55 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2026, on southbound I-35 near Exit 213. Kyle police officers responded to the scene following reports of a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and an 18-wheeler.
The circumstances leading to the collision were not immediately released. Authorities have not provided details about how the motorcycle and the tractor-trailer collided.
The motorcyclist was identified as 21-year-old Angelina Duran of Austin. She was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries sustained in the crash but later succumbed to her injuries.
No information was immediately provided regarding injuries to the 18-wheeler driver or whether any arrests were made.
The fatal Kyle crash remains under investigation.
