Montrose, TX – A police officer was injured Monday afternoon in a rollover accident in Montrose, according to the HPD.
The accident occurred at about 2:20 p.m. on May 25 at the intersection of Westheimer Road and Dunlavy Street.
HPD said a Houston police officer was responding to a scene with emergency lights and sirens activated when the patrol vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection.
The other vehicle rolled over after the collision.
The officer in the patrol vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
It was unclear if any other person was injured in the accident.

The police are investigating the accident.
