San Antonio, TX – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning in San Antonio, according to the police.

The deadly accident was reported around 3:30 a.m. on May 31 on Interstate 35 South near South Laredo Street.

Police said the woman was crossing the main lanes when she was struck by a vehicle.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The driver stayed at the scene after the accident and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the accident.
